Service Description

Our healing process must start with acknowledging what is holding us back and to move into trusting what we feel, letting go of the excess that no longer serves us. Taking a baby step of faith can start to really break us open to opportunities to reflect and really see where our reality is and where change can happen. D. a client has this to say about his counseling experience: I came to Barb Hunter for counselling related to a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction. It was the last of these that had put my life in a state of turmoil and had literally compelled me to seek help. Barb’s warmth and compassion provided me a refuge from the horrors of my addiction; and her insight and expertise helped me deal with the core problems which had originally lured me into addictive behaviour. With her help, I was able to find a new way of life, one free from the devastating cycle of obsession and compulsion. Along the way, she also promoted my well-being in other areas, helping me achieve more positive patterns of thought, healthier habits, and a more grateful outlook overall.
